Absolutely Nothing To Do With My Commute
This post has absolutely nothing to do with commuting and I hope my bud BMac from DoubleCoverageFootball does not mind me re-posting (or using their reputable name on my bad blog) but I had to share it. Memphis QB Jacob Karam took time out of his schedule to visit children recovering from cancer.

With all that is wrong in sports these days, this is a breath of fresh air.

The Singing Dragon - Danny Small
I've seen some great performances in Boston but nothing like this.

Commute Fail
Due to a crazy work schedule and only getting weekend watches, I have not taken the train in a few days. I'm hoping to make the trip on Wednesday and again on Thursday so hopefully I'll have some interesting stories. A good friend of mine is making the San Fran trip to work and was hoping that he might be able to add some West Coast flavor to the blog. Buhhda?

Is That Seat Taken?
Can you imagine doing this each day at South Station? Someone would get shot. Happy Friday.

On the top of any beer drinkers list from New England when traveling south, picking up the case or two!

Lego Commute
Just wrapped up a trip to New York and Atlantic City. Cruised the Boardwalk, hit the casinos and stumbled across a cool Lego Train closely resembling the tin cans in Boston (color scheme is a little off). Heading back to work on Friday and will be taking the train, I got a request for a mullet shot, will do my best.

Skipped the Train
I decided to drive to work yesterday and got to Boston a little early. With time to kill I headed out for a coffee and a walk through Quincy Market where I was able to catch the last half of a great street performance. I know it's not commute related but if you find yourself in the area stick around for a show, you will not be disappointed.

The Little Things
Getting ready to head to work soon and I just remembered that PinkBerry Greek Yogurt Parfait is in my future. South Station recently got rid of the always empty popcorn stand for one of my favorites. I'll let you know how the train ride went when I get home tomorrow. Go Yankees.

The End is Near
As the heatwave comes to an end, I was trying to think of something positive about the MBTA train ride.
It's a good way to beat the heat.
Regardless of how comfortable it may be, not looking forward to my trip to Boston tomorrow.
Stay cool.

Rivalry on the Subway
Well Played Old Man
Here's one of my favorite moves that you will see on a crowded train.
The old "fake I'm sleeping so no one will sit with me" move.
We know you're not sleeping.
Well played old man, well played.

All Aboard
You gotta be kidding me? Miss the train you want or attempt to catch a train closer to Boston and you will likely experience something close to this.
The Grind
I have been traveling to Boston from RI over the last two years and have to say that is has been an eye opening experience to say the least. It has become a love hate relationship that can start as early as 4 am to catch a 520 am train in South Attleboro to a more relaxed 652 am train out of TF Green. But the best part of any commute day is stepping off the train to find my car to head home.
